CHICAGO-(AEAE)-DAVID HERRINGTON WAS NAMED AEAE LAWYER OF THE YEAR 2011 at a gala celebration two nights ago. Mr. Herrington is responsible for a Tennessee Criminal Appeals Court Decision v acating the 1985 felony murder conviction of a death row inmate Erskine Johnson. Kudos goes to Mr. David Herrington and the law firm of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton for engaging in the most honorable practice of law, the pro bono work for establishing that indigent death row prisoners are in fact innocent. Paul Bremer ,former head of the Coalition Provisional Authority charged with overseeing Iraq's occupation after the 2003 invasion, Bremer stated, “It is to early for the American Army to leave Iraq, the government is not stable enough for us to have left. The leaders in Iraq that came after Saddam Hussein, never appreciated what the Americans have done for them.” It is likely that many of them will be killed within 30 days after the Americans leave Iraq when Chaos returns.
